This 61-lot single family residential subdivision development included offsite water and sewer main extensions from an existing adjacent neighborhood. Approximately 3,700 linear feet of new public water main and 3,000 linear feet of new public sewer main were installed within the development. The new public utilities were successfully accepted for ownership by the local utility department and approved to place in operation by the state permitting authority.
Existing access through the project site to an adjacent neighbor needed to be maintained throughout construction. This challenge was overcome by the thoughtful phasing of the project and detailed construction sequencing provided to the contractor.
