As our nation prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, American Engineering is reflecting on a story that has been part of our identity since the very beginning.
When our firm was founded, the name American Engineering was chosen with purpose. It was more than a company name – it was a tribute to America, the opportunities this country represents, and the role engineering plays in shaping strong, connected, and resilient communities.
For more than five decades, American Engineering has had the privilege of helping communities grow and thrive through transportation improvements, water and wastewater infrastructure, land development, land surveying, and community planning projects across the Southeast. These projects may vary in size and scope, but each one contributes to the places people call home, the roads they travel, the water systems they depend on, and the communities they help build.
As we celebrate America250, we will be highlighting the projects, partnerships, and people who continue to move our communities forward. It is an opportunity to honor the past, recognize the work being done today, and look ahead to the next chapter of America’s future.
