The 108-lot single family residential subdivision development included an approximately 1,500-linear foot offsite water main extension and approximately 600-linear foot offsite sewer main extension. Approximately 4,800 linear feet of new public water main and 5,100 linear feet of new public sewer main were installed within the development. The new public utilities were successfully accepted for ownership by the local utility departments and approved to place in operation by the state permitting authority.
There were several permitting agencies involved due to the site being located across different counties, municipalities, and utility service areas. The challenges were overcome by continued coordination efforts and communication facilitated between all parties.
