Robinson Church Road Farm-To-Market Road Improvements (Phase I)
American Engineering completed a planning study for the City of Charlotte’s Robinson Church Road Farm to Market and is now under contract to provide final design services. The limits of the project are from East WT Harris Boulevard to the Plott Road/Highland Avenue intersection. The project will improve access and safety along Robinson Church Road for vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists. The project will implement complete street improvements that will include a multi-use path along both sides of Robinson Church. A roundabout is proposed for the Plott Road/Highland Avenue intersection.
The project challenges include existing and ongoing development along the corridor as well as impacts to utilities. A combination of profile adjustments and typical section modifications will be implemented to limit impacts.
